40% of the world's people groups have never had the chance to hear about Jesus because of where they live.

Together we can create thriving churches among some of the most remote and hard-to-reach people through aviation missions.

What if you never had the chance to hear about Jesus simply because you were born in a place that was so hard to get to it was difficult for missionaries to reach?
That’s the reality for billions of people around the world. But, together, we can reach people living in the most geographically remote areas through aviation.
Imagine people living in remote areas, seeing neighboring people's lives being transformed and asking for their own missionaries...

...And waiting without hope because there aren't enough missionaries or pilots to go to them.

Unfortunately, this is really happening.

Now instead imagine a crowd of people running up to an aircraft because they are about to get the Word of God in their heart language.

And then imagine the next generations going out to neighboring people groups to share the hope of Jesus and translate the Word of God for them.

Fortunately, this is really happening.

And together we can make this the reality for more People Groups living in remote areas of the world. No one should miss the chance to have hope in Jesus because it's hard to get to them.
Hi, we're the McCormicks.

After years of pursuing aviation missions, we faced challenges that led us to pause and reconsider our path. Then, an innocent prompt on a podcast changed our life.

Imagining ourselves on our deathbeds revealed that we would regret not dedicating our lives to bringing the hope of Jesus to people who would otherwise not know about Him just because they live in hard-to-reach places.

We feel that God has gifted our family to serve His Kingdom by helping plant churches among remote and hard-to-reach people through aviation.

As we look back over our lives, we can see how God has steered our hearts towards and then prepared us for this path.

We have both always had an avid interest in other cultures and languages. In fact, we met on a mission trip to Costa Rica. We have both lived overseas for extended periods of time, so we know the joys and the challenges that come with it.

But here's where it really gets good...

Before Adam and I got married, I moved to a small town I had never heard of on the Mexican border of Arizona to teach first grade. Adam then also moved to that small town and decided to pursue aviation missions. There just happened to be a flight school in that small town where he enrolled and began training. His flight instructor just happened to have grown up as a missionary kid and was living at Ethnos360 Aviation, which just happened to be 40 minutes away.

We quickly became friends with his flight instructor, and Adam began volunteering at Ethnos360 Aviation. Since then, Adam has continued to work towards becoming a missionary pilot and mechanic (with a brief break before reaffirming the path to missionary aviation), trusting God with each step.

Adam has 8 years of experience as an aircraft mechanic, his private pilot license and instrument rating, and almost 200 flight hours. He needs his commercial pilot's license and 300 more flight hours to evaluate with a mission organization as a pilot mechanic.

Our family has been accepted to serve and train at Compass Aviation starting this November. We cannot help but tear up thinking about God’s faithfulness in bringing us to this point.

After 11 years total of working towards this, we could be overseas in just 3 more years with your help. Together, we can bring the Word of God and thriving churches to Unreached People Groups who might otherwise never get the chance to hear about Him.
Serving and training at Compass Aviation will help our family be as prepared as possible to leverage aviation to bring the hope of Christ to people living in hard-to-reach places.
Instruction From Missionary Pilots
Flying in the places and conditions missionary pilots do is tough. Being trained by pilots who have done it and can share their expertise is invaluable. The instructors at Compass Aviation can offer insights and expertise specific to flying in remote areas that instructors at other flight schools cannot.
Matching Funds & Reduced Flight Costs
Compass Aviation significantly cuts the cost of training. Adam’s last 250 flight hours will be 1/5 the cost they would be elsewhere. Flight hours are at cost, Adam earns hours as he serves with his time and maintenance experience, and he has a matching fund scholarship, which doubles donations.
Discipleship, Prayer, & Community
Compass Aviation exists to move hopeful missionary pilots more quickly from training to service overseas. This means we will be surrounded by mentors and other trainees who are working towards the same goal and who want to ensure we are as prepared as possible to serve well through missionary aviation.
Our Support & Ministry Team
Our family will rely on financial support from generous people like you as Adam serves and trains at Compass. It can take missionary candidates years to raise support once they are accepted by their sending organization. We will have our ministry team in place, which means we can be overseas more quickly when the time comes.
We cannot do this alone, and we’d be honored to have you on our ministry team.
Would you prayerfully consider joining us in planting thriving churches among remote people through aviation?

Help Plant Thriving Churches
Your investment has eternal impact for the Unreached People Groups waiting to have the hope of Jesus and "God's Talk" in their language.
Picture endless miles of rainforest, steep banks, and rugged mountains—with unpredictable weather and no roads or infrastructure.

Billions of people around the world still live in places like this.

Missionaries are willing to make dangerous and strenuous treks through these areas to share the hope of Jesus with the people living there.

But with aviation, they don't have to.

Aviation is the difference between a 12-hour hike over rugged and dangerous terrain or an 8-minute flight over the same terrain.

Pilots bring supplies, transport native missionaries, and do emergency medical evacuations. In this way, aviation allows Bible translation, teaching, and church planting among the billions of people waiting to hear about God’s love to be completed more quickly, easily, and safely.
